Remember the Turing Phone? You might because you preordered it in August 2015 and have yet to receive it. After a switch to Sailfish OS in January of this year, the company might finally be shipping its "ultra-secure" phone.
Phoneradar reports that a source in Taiwan received a preordered phone. The anonymous source posted these photos on it168, too, but I’m skeptical. One phone being shipped doesn't necessarily mean the Turing Phone is full-blown shipping. I haven't seen other reports of shipments on Reddit, but if you’ve been waiting over a year for your phone and finally got it, let us know! For now, I’m still going to believe these phones might never ship. The company supposedly also upgraded its phone to the Snapdragon 820 processor because of the long wait, so if your phone ever does show up, it won’t be too outdated. Congrats.
